Aside from running his law firm, Josh enjoys sports, Utah’s national parks and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
Mr. Green’s practice includes trademark, advertising, unfair competition, trade dress, copyright, and internet matters. Clients rely on Josh to advise them on all aspects of their intellectual property as well as advertising clearance issues, including claim substantiation. He can assist clients in false advertising disputes in federal court and before the Better Business Bureau’s National Advertising Division (NAD). Josh also assists clients with advising and drafting various royalty and licensing agreements involving their intellectual property.
Mr. Green also spends a considerable amount of time consulting clients of various sizes and industries regarding employment law matters, contracts, merger and acquisition transactions, shareholder disputes, mediation, arbitration, and commercial litigation support. Josh has experience with handling all types of business and corporate matters, including by-laws, limited liability companies, operating agreements, not-for-profit entities, partnerships, shareholder agreements, state formation and registration filings, corporations and s-corporations. He serves as corporate counsel for profit and not-for-profit companies and works very closely with clients to plan for and eliminate legal issues before they arise. His work with clients has provided him with a significant amount of international exposure as he has assisted clients in Belgium, China, India, the UAE, and South America.
Finally, Mr. Green also frequently works on cases involving domestic issues such as bankruptcy, divorce, custody disputes, estate planning and probate, wills and trusts, and debt management and debtor rights issues.
Josh has enjoyed a diverse practice for many years now. His first client, Darts-ip, a multinational tech company based in Brussels, Belgium, hired him to help it take root in the United States. Josh quickly rose through the ranks and took on a corporate counsel type roll for Darts-ip advising them on many matters involving taxes, corporate structure, contracts, intellectual property and employment law issues. Josh’s continued work with Darts-ip has provided him with a significant amount of business and international experience that has helped him with other clients in China, India, UAE, and South America.
In late 2011, Josh accepted an attorney position with J.D. Milliner & Associates, P.C. to help build its business and intellectual property practice, but went on to a more diverse practice with the firm taking divorce cases, employment law cases before the labor commission, real estate, estate and probate, wills and trusts, and all kinds of general litigation cases. Josh had the unique opportunity to be mentored and trained by the firm’s founder, an experienced attorney with over 25 years of experience in business law, family law, and estate and probate.
